What a great way to finish 2014! I had wanted to read this saga for a while because I had seen it in many "must read" lists, but I had never found the time to put it in my list. I am so happy I did now.

 

This book is everything a cozy mystery should be, plus excellent characters. At first they weren't that well developed, but that changed quickly enough. The mystery itself was interesting, the writing was lovely and funny, the characters were relatable or were at least people that you could find in your regular life, and the author had me guessing until the end. Also, I fell in love with Inspector Gamache.
