Bah, Humbug! - Heather Horrocks

I did not like this one. I know it's supposed to be short, as it is a novella, but everything happened way too fast. It was all too unreal for me. Especially the ending.

 

But the real reason why I gave it 2.5 stars is that I truly disliked the main female character. I found her annoying and I hated how she needed to control and meddle with everything around her. I could not understand how Kyle could fall for her (and in 2 days).

 

Now, her children were great and reading their interactions was the only thing that kept me reading until the end.
