Noche sin Luna - Etgar Keret, Shira Gefen

Noche sin luna - Etgar Keret, Shira Gefen

I don't know if this one has an English translation because I read it in spanish, but I hope it does. This is a short children's book about a little girl who can't go to sleep because even though her dad told her it was going to be a full moon tonight, she can't see it anywhere. So, of course, she goes out the window to look for the moon and will not go back until she finds it.

The story itself was nice, but what I loved the most was the coloring of the illustrations. Since it all happens at night, the few lights that exist are incredibly bright and it gives it all a magnificent atmosphere. I spent a long time just looking at the pictures, completely absorbed with the colors. It's a perfect book to read to or with a child before bed time.
